Retro Rockies Collection

Inspired by the Canadian Rocky Mountains with a retro sunset vibe. This series originated from a "climber" mug made as a gift for my daughter who is an indoor rock climbing enthusiast. The climber handles are hand-sculpted to mimic the look and feel of an indoor rock climbing hold and all handles in this series have a comfortable textured quality. Mountain carvings are done free hand and the stripes are carefully glazed using tape and a laser level.  

Made with a with speckled stoneware clay and glazed with a satin matte finish. Some pieces are hand built using slabs and some are wheel thrown.  

All pieces are fired twice in a Skutt kiln and are microwave and dishwasher safe. Hand washing is recommended.
